THE CONVENT HOTEL IS OPEN FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY EVENING.

We have 50 individual rooms (real brothers' cells in Modulor format) guaranteeing you a sober, serene stay, conducive to reflection and rejuvenation.
All our rooms are equipped with a loggia overlooking nature, in a peaceful setting.
Reservations must be made at least 10 days in advance by filling in one of the pre-booking forms below.

Info 2025: our hotel will be open all year round including during the summer school vacations (annual closure from 21/12/25 to 4/1/26 inclusive)

CAR ACCESS

30 min drive from downtown Lyon. A6 freeway (Paris-Lyon),
then take the A 89, direction Roanne/Clermont Ferrand, exit L'Arbresle, then direction Éveux. Free on-site parking.

TRAIN ACCESS

From Lyon-Gorge de Loup or Lyon-Part-Dieu (very frequent during the week), you have to stop at the station of L'Abresle.

Every 15-30 min, on Sundays: 1 train per hour) and Lyon-Part Dieu (every 2 hours, weekdays from 6 am to 9 pm and weekends from 7 am to 9 pm).

ACCESS FROM THE STATION OF L'ARBRESLE

To reach the convent from the L'Arbresle train station, it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the convent or to book a cab :

From Lyon Saint Exupéry airport, take the Rhône-Express shuttle to Lyon Part Dieu train station. At Part Dieu station, take the TER train to Roanne and stop at the Arbresle train station.

ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

Persons with reduced mobility have access only to the intellectual life floor (brothers' classrooms).
Access to the church requires one able-bodied person to accompany you.

MAP :

€20 including tax per person per meal (Lunch or Dinner), wine and coffee included. Single menu.
Lunches are served at 12:25 p.m. and dinners (vegetarian each evening) at 7:20 p.m.

If you have a special diet (allergies), we cannot guarantee a suitable meal.

You can cancel your stay up to 15 days before your arrival. After this deadline, no refund will be issued.

Authentic Dominican friars' individual cells in Modulor format with private washbasins.

Chambre Couvent 2024

For all requests for group accommodation, please contact us on our "Pre-Reservations groups" form with the number of people, the dates of arrival and departure, and the meals to be ordered.

Groups are invited to arrive at the convent before 5pm. After this time, we will not be able to receive them.
Group rates, students in revision on request.

Pets are not allowed inside our house, with the exception of guide dogs.
Outside on our estate, dogs must be kept on a lead.
